Open up the space and create a light, warm and inviting family space. Use muted cashmere tones to create a calm and stylish living area.
Polar White high gloss cabinets with integrated satin steel handles contrast beautifully with the cool grey quartz worktop and interior drawers in lava grey. The worktop was extended into the splash back giving continuity and also great durability.
Lighting is a key feature with plinth lights adding ambience and a decorative effect. The angular sink with its Dornbracht tap adds an industrial element to this sophisticated space.
The kitchen benefits from lots of storage, with cabinets under the island using bespoke plate rods for super-efficient organization. Wall cabinets with reduced depth give more storage whilst still allowing the island to be circulated easily. Hacker also ingeniously designed a recessed open shelving unit to make use of a void space behind the cabinetry.
The central island is the focal point and is perfect for entertaining and family use, with an area for children to do their homework as well as eat and create meals. A pop-up plug socket keeps the island’s clean look when not in use.
A Miele fixed extractor over the island, fridge freezer, combi- microwave, oven and an induction hob complete the look.
Steven Pardoe, Managing Partner at Hacker Kitchens, comments: “We worked with the client to explore various layouts for this kitchen, settling on this fantastic island which works so well for the whole family.”
"I can't recommend Hacker Kitchens highly enough."
“I talked to a few companies when researching our new kitchen and I can't recommend Hacker Kitchens highly enough. They held my hand throughout the entire design process and then worked with me to fit my budget. They delivered everything when they said they would and were lovely to work with throughout.”
